Indian Ocean Trepang works closely with 3 NGOs to support every community we work with.

Together with our partner NGOs - from the very beginning - we select villages and families to partner with, and work throughout the development, financing and maintenance of a community of sea cucumber farmers.

NGOs provide training, assistance and awareness to fishermen villages on:

• Aquaculture
• Wild stock depletion and conservation measures
• The dangers of deep compressed air sea fishing
• Savings management
• Drinking water wells construction
• Health
• Family planning
• Children's education
• Women's rights and gender equality
